Place of the field where the dandelions sway,
A band of elves set out to play,
With hats of clover, green and small,
They danced until the night did fall.
A frog prince, in his regal best,
Completed the orchestra at the direction,
Of a ladybug queen with a crown of dew,
And a gown of petals in shades of blue.
The crickets chirped a merry tune,
Under the glow of a cheese-yellow moon,
While fireflies, with their lanterns bright,
It brightened the festive night.
A curious cat with paws so light,
I tiptoed in to see the sight,
And decided then to join the crowd,
In this whimsical, magical song.
