Under a sky woven from vanilla threads,

A cakewalk carries whispers of powdered sugar,

Soft and gentle as marshmallow beds.

Amber sunsets pour like honey from the spoon,

Sticky and golden, they drape over the horizon,

It was resounding the serenades of a sugared tune.

Moonlight drips like molasses, slow and thick,

Blanketing the world in a silken glow,

Dreams float on clouds of candyfloss, magic and quick.

Stars sprinkle the night like sugar on a cake,

Glistening with the promises of whispered tales,

In the sweet embrace of night, all awake.
